Youtube videos are blurry, grainy
Youtube videos are getting really blurry suddenly. It seemed before they were pretty much the same as looking at an embedded video, but suddenly they're much grainier. Prezi: http://prezi.com/kwfxc-19vwwj/youtube... youtube: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=tVoRkC... is that fixable?

Any word on this? Video still looks pretty blurry through prezi. This is a pretty big deal when you're building prezis as part of training, etc. -

Example: http://prezi.com/nbrgxwlhz0yr/produce... Check out the videos in this prezi. I couldn't actually use it to demonstrate as I hoped to, it was just way too blurry to be useful. The original video isn't perfect (https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=i0-LtW... for example), but it's at least readable. It's not readable at all in prezi.

Any updates on this? Any word on an ETA? If it's not fixed before the end of August, I'm going to have to abandon a set of prezis we're working on. The video is so blurry, my prezis are useless to the people they're meant to help.

Okay, let me clarify and explain: I LOVE prezi. I adore it. I'd work in it constantly if possible. I'm in your top 100. I don't want to abandon it. But at this point I don't know whether the blurriness is fixable at all. it's not listed in your known issues, and I don't even see many other people reporting it. Is it me? Is it high on your list of priorities? Should I just accept the status quo, or do I have to abandon? I'd really, really rather not, because I really do love prezi. I was about to recommend a series of accounts for work, but I can't do so currently. Our top use for it is currently not feasible.
An update on this would be really awesome. There is no such thing as too much information. -

Yeah, I'd love an update on this. I've really had to scale back my use of prezi because of it.
Is a fix even possible? Where does it rank in your priorities? Some info on it would be fantastic.-
Hi, as you could see now we have implemented a new converter that allows you to upload all common video formats. The YouTube fix is also in it's way. I will write a company update about it when ready so you will not miss it.

We've recently put up a video and that first few frames are blurry, then it clears up. Here are the links to our video:

Is there a way to have resolution setting control for you tube embedded links? I have HD videos that look terrible on Prezi and I can't see if I can set it to 720p like on you tube.....

YouTube has a great feature that allows you to start playing a video at a given time offset by adding "&t=###s" for the number of seconds into the video to start. This URL parameter is ignored when I paste it into Prezi.
This can be done for embedded videos according to the api: http://code.google.com/apis/youtube/p...

no Elisa, you may have the browser's extension "adblock", but this will stop publicity only for those who have adblock to :) - to close the ads on youtube videos, just move the mouse on the edge of the ads, you'll see an edge enlightened when it will be clickable, then you click and it disappears.

Any news on when we can embed hd Youtube-videos to Prezi. The Youtube embedd is worthless without hd. Who would want to embedd a crappy resolution to their cool and high-end presentation. -

Hello! I decided to use Prezi for an online course I'm co-teaching. I created videos that I uploaded to YouTube and then inserted in the Prezi. They looked fine at first, but now they are so grainy that the students will not be able to see the important details in the images. I need to upload the first modules TOMORROW for the students, and just started seeing this issue today. HELP!!

2. I recorded wide rezolution hd movies - 1920-1032 - and in prezo they have black stripes above and under the movie... prezi does not support wide movies? -

My youtube was alright but yesterday it started going blurry in the middle of watching things and its so annoying. Also the sound goes dodgy. Btw i use my iPad to watch videos. I still can't sort out the problem. -

All of a sudden a few weeks ago all of the youtube videos embedded in my Prezi became super blurry whenever I presented them on my ipad using the HDMI out. This same thing happened on the iPad 2 and the iPad mini. On the iPad screen the video is clear, but on the external display they were very ugly and blurry. The sound was not affected. -
