white on black, black on white?
In the tips Prezi, how was the reverse color text (white on black) created in the middle of the black on white?

Inappropriate?Hi Ron,
we edited some backend code manually - however, in the near future, we will be ready with some good tools so you can all do this easily from Prezi.
please stay tuned

Inappropriate?When???????????
Not tha good to show off things that we can't actually do?? Makes my clients think I am useless when I say that I can't do what they have clearly seen prezi can do.....
I’m frustrated
-
Inappropriate?John,
do you use Prezi Desktop?
What OS are you on? -
Inappropriate?Desktop on 10.5.8
-
In case you are OK with very basic CSS editing, go the /Users/yourname/Library/Preferences/com.zuilabs.something/1/
or 1, 2, 3 - these are the prezi folders
close the desktop, open the content.xml, and scroll to the end.
you'll see a css specifying the colors and fonts of the prezi.
to see what fonts you can use, go up until you see a fonts folder. -
Inappropriate?Adam...
Thanks
I got that far by myself last night, including changing colour of brackets etc... Very good.
Now then, how can I add a file - say Calibri.swf so that Desktop will use it???
If I just chage it in the xml then it does not work and uses a defalt font....
I’m undecided
-
sadly you can only use the fonts you find the the font folder...
this is mostly for legal reasons - we can embed your fonts into our partly online product without having a license for it per font.. -
Inappropriate?But
If I use desktop, to show offline...
And I paid for fonts.
Or even if I have freely licenced ones.
Where is the legal issue??? If I want to add my own legally held ones?? I can understand that you might not be able to distribute... But as an embedded SWF I have no way of turning that back to ttf, so it is just the same as using the font as swf in a banner on my website surely????
I’m confused
-
which would mean that we would need to set apart such prezi and if you upload them and share with others it will not have the font you used.
you are right, its doable, but its not that simple and of course has many consequences... and we can help you with this case, but to create a built in process, its not that trivial I think... -
Inappropriate?OK
So what about going to FontBurner dot com, and including all of their freely available swf fonts as part of prezi that I can use???
from FAQ <<all>></all>
I’m undecided
-
maybe we could do that and compile it for prezi - will look into it
