Hi, Prezi's Whitepaper and Glossy Paper themes accept all European typing including Cyrillic.

I am using Opera 10 and I also could not add Russian text. I haven't checked all styles, but at least in the default one in the tutorial Russian characters could not be added.

Hi Danila!
We are solving the fonts problem now.We would like to create styles with non-latin fonts, but we need help for it. If you know nice and free cyrillic fonts, what you think would be good to use in prezis, please give me informations about them. My e-mail: tunde dot koczian @ prezi dot com
Thanks for your help

Hi!
It seems that russian language is supported, but I'm unable to switch input layout with keyboard shortcut while editing prezi. Switching with button on taskbar works ok. -
-
Neither copy-paste nor switching input layout with button on task bar work for me :'(
-
-
prezi Must be support for the Russian font running by default in Russia's version of win xp-vista-7, and mas os.
enough to know the changes in operating systems and browsers, different language versions. I think this will solve the problems.
I also will not print in Russian, when I switch the keyboard layout from English to Russian -
-
I can't key in Cyrillic alphabet too. I cant switch language with the keyboard shortcut too. I switch the keyboard layout from English to Russian with the task bar.
Prezi just doesn't response key strokes...
P.S. I run "Google chrome" and russian win XP -
-
Hi
I think this is an issue with browsers, and flash...
can you please try:
- copy paste russian into prezi. (don't type, just copy some cyrillic and paste it into a prezi textbox
- try from another browser, or prezi desktop-
Dear Adam,
I dont know what I did as you advised.

Still doesnt work! 5month after problem was raised!!! People please fix the russian language. All the above comments are true and it is not a browser problem.
-
-
it doesn't work! of course it's not a browser problem.
I use firefox 3.10.12 and google chrome. I'm failed and frustrated.
We want cyrillic alphabet in prezis!!!!! -
-
Hi,
Are there any ideas when it would be resolved? It's really crucial for me...
I'm using Safari in MacOS and it doesn't work. By the way it looks like it's not about browser as people reported same thing in Opera and FF.
May be we can upload somewhere Russian fonts and use it in custom CSS? -
-
Same problem here - tried on three computers (two of them have Russian as Windows locale setting, so no problem with OS). Browsers - IE8, FF 3.5, Chrome, Opera 11.
Can't nor write nor paste Cyrlic text from Notepad. Confusing thing is that Latvian language (as well as chinese) writes perfectly, so I'm wondering if that's a fonts problem or what... -
-
Hi, Prezi's Whitepaper and Glossy Paper themes accept all European typing including Cyrillic.
-
No, they don't. Prezi doesn't accept any cyrillic letters in Glossy Paper and the Whitepaper theme doesn't support Russian letters in body. There are problems with other themes, too.
-
-
-
-
-
No, it doesn't support.
Please see this prezi - http://prezi.com/1w008hjogq2u/russian...
Try to play with it changing themes and you will see that Whitepaper and Glossy don't have full support (Whitepaper doesn't support cyrillic in Body, while Glossy doesn't support it in Body and Title 1 if I'm not mistaken). -
-
There's a number of free fonts, supporting cyrillics.
Best multi-purpose fonts are free PT Sans and PTSerif, some details in Russian at http://www.paratype.ru/public/

Same problem.
Whitepaper and Glossy Paper themes does not accept Russian. -
-
Now it supports cyrillic but only with Titles 1&2, not ib body =(
-
-
-
-
use theme wizard! some fonts support cyrilic
AND
try to type latin firtst, then russian in the field -
-
Only "Myriad pro" font supports the cyrillic symbols :(
Could you add more fonts with cyrillic please? -
-

-
I want to edit a presentation in Russian. Can I write cirillica?
