My wife has just opened a prezi account and has import ppt beta. I would really like this but do not seem to be able to access it. Can I get the "import powerpoint beta" on my account?

works charmingly - ppts shouldn't be larger that approx 12 MB / rule of thumb. -

Very nice. However, some of my bar charts loose their bars, only showing numbers. Other bars import very well. Does not seem to have anything to do with the ppt version, although it could be. Might be the colors used? Any ideas? Since I work with bar charts a lot, this is esssential to me.

Why are the Zoom buttons replaced with this update? Also the replacement of the path preview (from bottom to left side) feels very uncomfortable....
Is there any way I can change things back?-

this is a beta feature, you can hide the sidebar by clicking beetween the + and -.
Well i like this new feature, For me it's a good thing to be abble to see the path points when editing, it is also a quicky to move inside my prezi...
when you have a big prezi, it's really helpfull :) -

having problems importing ppt and also apparent internet connections, although my internet is fine (in south korea - so more than fine actually)

The feature in not showing up on my insert circle in my prezi account. I am a new user to prezi and the PowerPoint feature is nowhere to be found. If not on my insert circle then where? Help please

We are slowly releasing this feature to all of our users. Not EVERYONE has it yet. This will be released to all of our users very soon.

My question then is how soon is soon? You've apparently been releasing the information for a while. I only signed up last week when the import was available, after colleagues and students were praising being able to use the PowerPoint import and I not being able to utilize the capability. It is frustrating because it is adding more work to my day to try and utilize Prezi for my students and for shared presentations with colleagues who all ironically have the import.
Getting back to my point, I only would like to know how long time wise because I have a big presentation shared presentation with colleagues across the country to present at a conference. I would like to plan my time to know if I am going to have to do the entire presentation from scratch in prezi or if I will have the import capability available to just simply upload the already created PowerPoint presentation.
Yes I understand that this is a new feature and changes are being made, and that you are releasing it at your leisure. However it is frustrating, confusing, and disappointing for a new user, who watches the learn videos and PowerPoint is there as a capability. Nowhere is it mentioned in the video that not all users will have access to the import it shows which to me is false advertising. I am going to have to use Prezi for a shared presentation coming up because that is what colleagues have decided. However this process and impression of Prezi that I have received is not a good one and makes me leary to use it in the future.
Please understand that I am not thinking that importing PowerPoint is a right that I am entitled to as a Prezi user. I am just saying that if not everyone has that capability please let them know and don't send them to help that says you just click import and ppt should be there. Especially a new user who may utilize the videos to help navigate how to use the program. As a new user I find it sad and not the best first Prezi experience.
Also please no that I am not trying to take out my frustrations on you.
