Phantom videos
Invisible video
Hi, I've had problems getting my flv encoding right, and ended up with phantom videos in my presentations. I mouse over and get the transport bar up (with the play/pause button and movie position slider) but cannot select them while in place mode in order to delete them.

I can carry on fiddling until I get the encoding right, but will be left with a lot of phantom videos everywhere... Which I guess will count against my 500mb maximum.

Inappropriate?Aha, I managed to select and delete three phantom videos by clicking *a lot*. I'd like to know if there are others that are using up my space though

Inappropriate?Alex,
I think everything is OK. You have 6 video in your prezi according to the source. With id
63
152
228
243
271
278
You can check the object id in the url bar when you click it. Do you know the Hungarian No copy paste group? (I worked in Kitchen Budapest before prezi)

This still hasn't helped me delete the phantom videos bars. I have been clicking and shift clicking a lot and just can't seem to grab them. -
Inappropriate?Thanks for that Peter.
I know them (live coding is a small world) but haven't met them I don't think, heard great things about Kitchen though. I work with Dave Griffiths as part of slub, and Dave works with Gabor Papp on the Fluxus environment.
Ncp have some great videos, might use one in my presentation, thanks for the reminder!
BTW I haven't bought any software for years, thanks for making me compromise my free software zealotry ;)
Take care

Inappropriate?Thank you Alex. We don't want to compromise any zealotry. We can't take the responsibility for the consequence of the change.
Anyway Peter Nemeth, the lead developer here in the company was the member of NCP group.

(unfortunately we don't have too much time to play with things like this).
Do you know what problem was with the videos?

Inappropriate?I really like the idea of controlling my presentations with OSC, you should definitely roll that one out although I can't think of a use for it just yet...
I've had various problems with videos but this one is probably that I wasn't making the right kind of mp4 video for flash to read. Should have experimented outside of prezi first.
cheers
