Images and videos don't appear after selection

Same thing here. URL. On You Tube or Tagged videos dont appear when i click on them. On Tagged the space where the vid is suppodes to be is blanc on You tube its a black square.
I had this befor and a friend fixed it for me but i want to fix it my self this time.

same here: impossible to add images 95% of the time.

I had this problem too. Found it if I looked to long for an image on my hard drive for uploading. What works for me 99% of the time: Locate the image for uploading quicker.

Pretty disappointing since it's my very first attempt. It will upload other photos, speed isn't the issue, nor is size. But once I've had a problem with that particular photo, it will not even try to upload.

I have no idea what it could be, but you could try to re-save the photo in an image editor. Perhaps it's a little bit damaged or in a format Prezi doesn't like. There are many different types of JPG files, and while they all have the same extension, inside they are very different from a programming perspective. There's programs that will refuse certain kinds of JPGs (or other files) but not others.

Photos I'm using are from the same camera, same day, same program. Some will upload, others not. If I have to resave 50% of the photos I'm trying to use to get around a weird glitch, then the program (although it looks awesome) is not worth the hassle!

First I'll have this problem: type: mediaUpload the reason is: ErrorEvent ioError Error #2038 (No, there is no problem with my connection). After that, the image won't even try to load. Ok, sorry to take over the thread!

Well, it could be that there is something else that causes the images to be damaged, not related to prezi.

I'm not saying that it is the photos though. However, if you still would like to try it, you could download the free photo manager XNView, which is awesome anyway, and you can just select all your photos in XNview's browser, hit 'Batch Processing' under tools, set it to save as JPG, overwrite, in the same folder, and it'll do all of them at once.

That's a handy tool if you want to send someone a slew of photos and want to reduce their size or rotate them or whatever.

In any case, it might solve your problem for now... perhaps not.
Can you maybe upload a photo somewhere so that I could test it for you?

I am having the same problem though it went away for awhile. In online version, I upload a pdf image. It appears, but when I click on it it disappears. Sometimes entire Prezi disappears but I can find it by using space bar. This doesn't happen in desktop but I am unable to load pdf image files in desktop.

I'm having a similar problem; anytime I try to add an image, the whole Prezi gets messed up--meaning, nothing functions the way it did before I inserted a image. I can build an entire presentation no problem (everything works perfectly!)... but not with any images. I've tried .jpgs, .pngs, .pdfs, in both Safari and Firefox. Nothing works. Very frustrating!

Perhaps the entire presentation is too small... there's a limit to how far you can zoom in (and out). If you try it with a completely fresh prezi (without zooming in or out before you try), does it work?

Just a hunch, I've had issues with this in the past.

No luck; the second I click the zebra editor to resize the image it disappears and the Prezi goes on the fritz. Thanks for the thoughts!

I'm having this problem too. Suddenly I can't upload images or flv files. It worked yesterday.

I had the same problem and I solved this way. I moved all the images files to the folder that automatically opens the "file" option of Prezi and it works. Apparently the "file" option of Prezi miss the "file path" if you change to another folder.

I have the same problem: I upload an image and I am successful the first time around. I work on other parts of the prezi and then find out that the image had added has disappeared. I try to add it a second time and it works but then disappears again. The image then stops uploading (I don't get an error message).
