Hi there,
Windows Vista, Pro user, Prezi Desktop offline editor.
I want to use my Microsoft Wireless Notebok Presenter Mouse 8000 to show my presentations with Prezi, but it just doesn't work. It works fine with Powerpoint and Openoffice, but not with Prezi. Even when I try to view a prezi presentation online with it, it doesn't work while in presenter mode.
It's kind of frustrating... Is there any workarounds I can do to make it work?

To "Show All" in #Prezi on the Mac - CTRL+ALT+CMD+SPACE - useful for programming remotes http://ow.ly/1qnBB (update this page please)

Hey Gordon, thanks for the heads up, we updated the page to include this shortcut. However Ctrl+SPACE works in Mac too, and the alternate is Alt+Cmd+SPACE not Ctrl+Alt+Cmd+SPACE, just to clear this.

Thanks, maybe I have the other combination inadvertently mapped to another app.

I just bought this mouse/presenter and enable program specific controls for my prezi desktop. I appreciate the suggestion which does make it functional but frankly it's a pain.
The problem is you eliminate the chief function of the mouse/presenter, and that is you can use it as a mouse and with one click turn it into a presenter.
Note on assigning keystrokes: Definitely check the "Enable Program Specific Settings" box (see screen shot above) and add Prezi Desktop as a program. That way you can use the mouse "normally" in all other programs.
However Microsoft requires you to select either the left or the right button to retain a "click" function (which has no function in presenting a prezi). Therefore I assigned the buttons this way left button and left side button both = right arrow, I made the right button = click, right side button = left arrow (pan back in prezi).
I tried setting the wheel for zoom function but the it only worked infrequently (not going to risk that in a presentation). Also remember this changes to the buttons remain in effect if you want to edit your prezi...drag.
In addition, the only presenter button that works is the pointer laser but you have to flip over the mouse to use it and be careful to not accidently click your new left and right arrow keys.
It's a real patch-work quilt. It works but I am going to return it a go with a dedicated presenter.
Good Luck,
Gord -

Well, this all is a workaround but not a real solution. If you have a MS presenter mouse 8000 what you want is the presenter buttons on the bottom of the mouse to work with Prezi! Has anybody figured out how to do that?
Thank you,
Philip-
Try changing the options under "left side button" and "right side button".
