Inappropriate?Hi, sorry for the late reply. You can embed a youtube video to a prezi by downloading it with certain third party softwares, then convert to an flv format and upload. You can also create a screencast of your display, and crop it.
-
What third party software? And how do you do it? Can we have an actual step-by-step reply, please? -
Inappropriate?what you gonna embed is not the youtube video. When is going to be 3rd party services integrated in the product? Or Prezi is not brave enough to do that?
I’m asking

Inappropriate?kiazami,
you are right. Embedding youtube video is a must. I think we are brave but had no time to do it.

Inappropriate? Please let us know when this feature is working! I'm having a hard time uploading the videos and they take a great deal of space.
I’m frustrated
-
Inappropriate?Embedding youtube would be incredibly helpful. I'm surprised it's not there out of the gate.
I’m kinda bummed
-
Inappropriate?any news on this - i really need to embed a video from youtube and have no time (or space) to mess around with this...

Inappropriate?Hi!
Now you can embed a YouTube video by pasting the url of the video into an empty text box.
Observe that this only works when you are online and with the new editor version.

Inappropriate? How do i get the new editor version?
Thanks -
Inappropriate?Hi!
If you are a new user you only have the new version. If you are an old user you open with the new editor version by default. If you by some reason don't have time to get familiar with the new version you can still open with the old one by a link on the manage tab on My page for another two weeks.

Inappropriate?I'm a teacher and I have my class using Prezi. When we use this method(copy and paste the URL) to insert youtube clips, it works for half the students and not for the other half. We all have the same computers and the same membership to prezi. Any ideas?
-
Inappropriate?Hi David!
I'm sorry for late answer.
I haven't met this problem before. Do the students use the same kind of browser? If not, what browsers do the students for who it is not working use?
When does the problem occur? Already when trying to paste the url? We are aware that in Chrome and Opera it does not work to paste text.
Kind regards,
Sofia -
Inappropriate?Add the URL of youtube in an empty textbox and add between http and :// the letter "v". The url will start then with httpv:// ...The movie will be imported like a picture with a "play" sign in the middle. Only checked it for online use.
I’m confident
-
Inappropriate?ciao the problem is: I add the youtube video but when it starts there is no way to stop it or to pause it. No toolbar to play/pause/stop. Bad compromise...
-
Inappropriate?Hi, you can pause a YouTube video by clicking the window once. Another click will restart it. however you are right about the navigation bar. This is a flash technology matter, we are aware of the fact that adding it would improve the experience.
