Inappropriate?Hi,
can you please try the Whitepaper style? We think it should support Hebrew!
(in the future, more styles will). And let us know if it worked!
-
I tried it. It doesn't work for me. -
No good !
No HEBREW data entry is possible not even in google chrome -
Inappropriate?hi, what OS / Browser are you using?
-
windows XP. I tried both IE and FF. -
Windows XP, IE and chrome no Hebrew entry is possible -
Inappropriate?Sorry about that - I think that font did support Hebrew, maybe the bug is somewhere else
could you please try a last thing for us - instead of typing, could you please try to copy paste Hebrew text into Prezi?
Copy the text, open a new textbox in Prezi, and paste it
thank you! -
If I paste hebrew text nothing shows.
I guess same for arabic farsi etc the use the same right to left code in windows -
the same with me. -
Inappropriate?I see
unfortunately it seems we are not supporting Hebrew text yet - we hope to do that in the near future. But we will need help with that! Anyone of you could help us? We need: free fonts, 1 or more, that we can use (ttf), than we can decide some colors - and create a Hebrew style. (we did the chinese and japanese like that, with beta tester help!) -
Can't you use the default operating system supported fonts ?
Arial has Hebrew characters for sure.
Anyway utf-8 includes Hebrew so you just have to follow the standard
Of course I could provide feedback as much as you like. -
We can not use the fonts that are resting on you machines, we need to embed copies into Prezi
Arial is not free - http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Arial - you paid for it when you bought XP.
We need fonts that are licensed so that we can embed them into an application.
UTF-8 if not a typeface, its a standard, somebody still has to design all the shapes, curves, etc. -
http://www.wazu.jp/gallery/Fonts_Hebr... Has lots of free Hebrew
Also the free X Hebrew fonts can be downloaded from http://www.ilan.eu.org/components/com... ttf fonts of course -
fantastic, thank you!
can you maybe also recommend 3 for head strong body, that you think look good? its hard for us to see which are nice and which are ugly fonts :) -
More free fonts at http://cg.scs.carleton.ca/~luc/hebrew...
I am no expert but I would recommend DAVID ARIAL or ROMAN as a starting point
Perhaps the easiest way to see hebrew text is to point at a hebrew web site such as ynet.co.il you will figure out which is Hebrew...
Perhaps when you manage to get one in and figure out the drawing direction which is of course right to left and have all that we could discuss which fonts look best - perhaps with bigger audience -
Inappropriate?I'd really like to see Hebrew support soon too!
enclosing another link to some fonts that are ... more ... fun! http://webjunkie.co.il/ShowFontCat.as... (the website says the license to use is free, but it didn't mention commercial use specifically).
the 5th from the top is a type of loose hand-writing that has the same feel the head font on "idea sketch" theme has.
the 9th font from the top is a formal-lettering font with some chic\punch to it, I think it can also make for a nice funky head font.
as for body fonts, I like David and Lucida Sans and maybe FMBF Tahoma or Arial on the http://www.wazu.jp/gallery/Fonts_Hebr... page that Oferl suggested.
Anyway, any progress?
I’m sad

Inappropriate?Hi All,
I m Tünde from prezi, I m new, and now i am responsible to find solution for your problem, and create new style with non-latin fonts.
For that I need your help!
I checked the links what you suggested, but it s hard to understand for me, and i would like to ask you to download and send some free fonts to me.
my e-mail: tunde.koczian@prezi.com
If I have fonts i create a style and let you try if everything is allright with the fonts.
thanks a lot -
Is there any news concerning hebrew ??? -
Aything new with the hebrew fonts? I have an important presentation which I really want to make with Prezi. I'm willing to help with anything nessecery. -
Inappropriate?Well,
I dont really know what size ttf is considered to be small, but here are some very nice styles (each one is about 25kb [at the download it says more, but there are a few files there]):

Inappropriate?Hey,
Just did my first prezi in English and I REALLY want to do my next one, which should be done in Hebrew, using prezi too.
Please make the effort to introduce the Hebrew fonts!
thanks
I’m disappointed
-
Just want to add my voice here - PLEASE add Hebrew to Prezi. -
Inappropriate?I really hope this problem will be solved soon.
For the meanwhile, I upload PDF docs, with hebrew texts, into the presentation.
That works well for me.
