Fonts use in Prezi
Hi. I am wondering if I buy the Prezi upgrade will I be able to use fonts from my personal collection or just the from the fonts Prezi provides. If so, do you get more font choices with the upgrade? Thanks, Max

Hi Max,
sorry, the answer is no. fonts in our editor need to be licensed, so we can't use the ones from your machine.
if you want, and it makes sense, you can order custom styles from us, where we can use your fonts, colors, etc - mostly companies who want to follow their brand do this.- view 2 more comments

i think it shuld have the option to use own fonts like other programms-
this is important for professional work with prezi.
we testing prezi in our Agency and this is a crucial problem, we ned a
good text editor with size and color selection. -

how much is ordering a custom style? I do have licenced fonts (syntax family) that I need to use.

Would love to get an answer on that, too.

can someone answer this question? id like to upload my own liscenced fonts

Maybe a nice tip: write the text in an external text editor (Illustrator or something) and save as swf or PDF (converting the text to outlines) then use that file in Prezi. It will display your own text in your own font (not editable in Prezi though).

Here's a related question: In each of the Prezi styles, what standard TrueType fonts are the Prezi fonts equivelent to? In the case where I might want to do some text on an image or what not outside of Prezi, it would help the presentation if the fonts matched. For example if I wanted to curve the text around an object...., I'd have to do that in an image editor and upload the text as part of an image.

HI, I have seen in some demos/previous presentations what it seems to be a larger collection of fonts and styles than what I have access to in y prezi. Can we somehow install/upload/download more additional styles or possibilities for editing?

I need more options than just the - what? - 6 or 7 - fonts? Everything else about Prezi is great. It seems like the font capability should be great as well.

Ditto, I work for a creative agency in London and although we use Prezi for internal presentations from time to time, it's a no-go for most of our clients work if we can't upload their fonts. Can't help but feel the prezi team are missing out on a hell of a lot of business because of this - it's the main barrier for a lot of people.

Anyone from Prezi have an update on this? Is true font support something that is in the pipeline?

If using local fonts was possible on the desktop version, this would get me to convert to a pro account and start putting Prezis in front of clients.
