Hi,
this must be an issue with the file you want to upload. PDF-s are only file containers, many different file formats can be included. If you can send the PDF to me in email to zoltan.radnai_at_prezi.com, we can check the file and try to find out the reason of the unsuccessful upload. What was the sorce of the PDF file? Have you converted it from a different file format? -

I uploaded a PDF yesterday that I had created in Illustrator, and today it wont upload. Any help here?

Yes - same network - I figured it out though. It seems as though having certain raster images in the AI file cause issues? Perhaps jpegs? I think I have a png in it, and that works ok. Its odd. Nonetheless - removing the raster images I added in solved the issue I had.

Thanks for the feedback. It's quite possible. I have shared this with the dev team.

I have just downloaded prezi desktop on my OSX machine. I converted a ppt to PDF on this Mac and when I upload it to prezi desktop it will not load. I tried many of my PDFs generated form ppt and pptx and none of them work. I run the newest Word and OSX software. How disappointing, I was ready to give it a try and purchase the prezi version, but reliably including PDFs generated from PPT(x)s is a must. Is there an FAQ that can tell me what is wrong

Hi, prezi desktop does not eat PDF files. Only the online editor accepts PDF. You can go online upload the PDF and then export the prezi again to pez format open and continue editing offline.

The solution proposed does not work as I always get an error even when i upload the PDF. Looks like the PDF must be in a particular format. So the solution suggested does not work. Also I need a method to specify a url of type file:// where I Am giving the presentation we do not have internet. How do I do that? On osx, it would be great to have also the ability to simply use the open command.

Yes although the online editor of Prezi accepts PDF files, we are aware of the issue with certain PDF's being rejected especially ones converted from a different format and has media files included. Online presentations can be exported to a portable (.zip) format. those include the necessary flash player too so you can show them offline on any machine. You can also export .zip portable prezis from the desktop editor.

My PDF file won't upload. I get error "id:2560". I was able to upload a almost 3MB PDF file. But I haven't been able to upload a 7.59MB PDF file. What is the cut off for size? Is there anyway I can get this PDF to upload?

Hi!
I had the same problem before... My pdf didn't uploaded.
So there's a little program - a virtual pdf printer, called: BullZIP pdf.
That's to convert files jpg to pdf, but also pdf 2 pdf (just smaller pdf. :-))
That is a free stuff. It solved my pdf-uploading-problem before, because it simlify your file to take out from that the digital rubbish.
1. Get BullZIP pdf.
2. Virtual print your file to your desktop.
3. Upload to prezi your new pdf.
4. It will be working.
I hope (anyway)... :-)

you guys are really technical. I did a printscreen for a portion of a pdf I want to include in my presentation.
I pasted it into a word file..didn't know what else to do with it.
What would you recommend for inserting a printscreen portion of a pdf file? or printscreen portion of a website?
Basics please -
-
Lena,
I would just paste the print screen into another application and save it as a JPG file. I use Powerpoint to do that sometimes or you could use Windows Paint, or paint.net or another image editing program. I don't think that Word will let you export as a graphics file (.PNG, .JPG, .GIF, etc) -

New batteries should be fully discharged before use and on again. This process should be carried out a few times in order to reach the full capacity of the battery.
