Bug caused save errors in Prezi Desktop fixed - download the new version here

We released a new version of Prezi Desktop that included a bug: when you copy / paste inside of a PreziDesktop v3.067 prezi, it will not allow you to save.

I am getting this error after the update today
We cannot load a file.
Technical details:
id: 2000 the reason is: PreziError id: 2000 the reason is: ErrorEvent ioError Error #2035

It worked fine yesterday.

Yes I updated it to the latest version before I posted the error here. I am on my usual network and file uploading and downloading was successful. I cannot close the error box, but I can look at my presentation. All the graphics and pictures are now orange boxes. Thank you for your prompt support.

Zoli,

I finally kept clicking on the error box and it went away, it appears that I clicked on it the number of times that represented the number of graphics and pictures in my Prezi that are now orange boxes. I seems to me that it is not loading these now for some reason.

After upgrading to the new version I still receive the same error.

Is it because of the size of the prezi? The only way I can save it now is upoad it to the servers after editing, which is obviously a pain because this Prezi is 70mb...

Looks like this is still a bug in 3.069 air - When I download a prezi to desktop and immediately try and save it on an IMac It creates a temp file and I get this error
Danger! The content of the Prezi cannot be saved.

Please check your internet connection or firewall, and allow traffic to prezi.com. Also, please make sure you have the latest version of Flash.

Can't save Prezi because of:

My prezi cannot be saved:

I managed to upload it to prezi.com but can't save the file. I have tried copying all the content to another prezi but the files seem to be too large.

I can save other prezi's so this problem has to do with this prezi.

I need this prezi tomorrow for a workshop and would greatly appreciate it if someone can answer and help me quickly.

OK, I'm panicking now.
I've kept this Prezi presentation (for a conference!) open for 2-3 days now in the hope of a solution.
Now can't save, can't SAVE AS, can't create portable Prezi - what the hell can I do? I can't even open a new Prezi and copy and paste all my 'objects' into a new one because it asks me to close the first one (it'd be good to have more than 1 open at the same time).

Please please help - very disconcerning thinking I'll waste about 20 hours of work!!!

  i have copied one project into a new one before. you must click on one object and click on the others while holding shift until all is clicked. then right click and press "copy". close the program, open a new one and right click and press "paste'
  
  it worked for me when i had to transfer one of my prezi to a new account.
  
  it is very time consuming and tricky but hopefully this helps!

I have a solution that works for me - on the prezi desktop menu bar - Select License - then Change User - then Reactivate. Onece the license is reactivated you can save your prez.

Same as above. Tried Dave's solution, but it only turned all jpgs and gifs into orange boxes and STILL doesn't want to save my prezi! Reading this topic made me feel like 4 hours of my work is wasted?
PS: downloaded all three: prezi desktop, Flash and Adobe Air - today!

I am still having the same problem and none of the suggestions have worked. Really frustrating! My company was using prezi as a trial run, but if it's this unreliable then clearly they're not ready for us.

OK- Every time I install the latest version it restarts Prezi and tells me I need to update to the latest version. This cycle doesn't end. Restarted the computer, tried everything I can think of. Goes through the entire process each time and then automatically opens and gives same message to download again. Any ideas?

  Oh no :-(
  Can you please specify on which operating system and Adobe AIR versions? Then, please reinstall the older one with which you know it worked. http://cdn01.prezi.com/prezi/desktop/... for example, but you can install any other version than this 3.072 by copy+pasting the link into your browser's address bar and editing the numbers at its end.

I can't install the update, even after just having installed adobe.air. I already lost some of my work because of having to restart my pc to install adobe air.

How to get this working?? When trying to install I get the warning that the update is not configured correctly. Please help me with this... :(
